The FingerDimple Story

I have used a Kenwood TS850 for over ten years and have always wanted a spinner or dimple to make rapid QSY easier. My Elecraft K2 needed one also. After searching high and low for some type of attachment that would suffice, I decided to make my own. First I used aluminum and brass, then moved to PVC. I experimented with different designs, materials, dimensions and adhesives. Finally the FingerDimple was born, adopted and made available to all at a reasonable price.  

FAQ (Frequently Asked Questions)

Q: How big is the actual FingerDimple?
A: 1/2 inch in diameter and about 1/10 of an inch thick.

Q: How well do they stick?
A:  Dimples are coated on the back with an adhesive and a protective peel off paper backing. Simply peel off the paper, select the appropriate spot on the knob and stick it on. We have had no reports of any dimples falling off, although they are removable with force.

Q: What colors are available and how many come in a package?
A: They currently come in Black and Gray and are packaged two per pack. You can specify your choice of color.

Q: Can I use the FingerDimple on a knob with a curved surface?
A: No, the dimple must be placed on a flat surface for proper adhesion.

Q: Can I use the FingerDimple on my mobile radio?
A: No, FingerDimples are not suitable for mobile installations due to extreme temperatures.
